Victoria was born and raised in Señuela. She is a strong woman with a great sense of humour and an enviable energy. The afternoon of our arrival at the village, we met her with part of her family. They were enjoying a snack, while her granddaughter Claudia was giving a little demonstration of her figure skating skills on the concrete planché of the fronton court in the village A planché, which apparently had been put in place a few years ago. From there we were invited to enjoy the sunset from the old threshing floors. It was an unforgettable start to our stay.
The next day we were surprised to see her wearing her work clothes in powder white. She was walking around with a wheelbarrow loaded with old wood, accompanied by her inseparable Noa, the alarm dog, and her other granddaughter Sofía. They were renovating the old family house. She showed us around the building site and explained what the house used to look like. Apparently, during the week, the builders went at their own pace, but on weekends it was his turn. Her turn and as well as her son and daughter-in-law, an electrician and an architect. A good team that takes up the challenge with dedication and effort. They are turning the old building into a meeting place for the family, which we hope they will enjoy for many, many years to come.
