A nomadic project where people, places and photography are the protagonists
“Retrato Nómada” is a photographic archive of portraits of people of people who live in small villages or communities.
We are a couple of photographers. A Basque and a Mallorcan who decided to leave Barcelona in 2018, to be nomads. We are Nomad Studio.
Our house, creative studio, itinerant gallery… Container and facilitator of a thousand and one adventures. It’s everything to us.
THE PROJECT
“Alquézar y Zuheros: miradas en la distancia” within the VISIONA/HU programme with the provincial councils of Huesca and Córdoba.
Presentation of the project in the Ágora space of the PRESURA 21 fair with the talk “Nomadic Portrait: creating memory for the future”.
Many media have understood the cultural and social potential of Retrato Nómada and have helped us by publishing it.
